Cost Of Advertising Poster
The cost of creating the poster won't be too expensive. If creating two posters then the cost will be around £13 maximum. This image comes from a local printer company so it will be easy to print out the poster once finished. The size of the posters we are making will either be A2/A1 sized.

Ways To Promote Nanna Mexico 2
Another form of advertising is to create your own products and sell them, for example phone cases, T-Shirts, coaters, mugs and many other creative forms. To create a phone case would be a good way to promote the store as it would look stylish for the customer and beneficial to the company. There are many different phone cases out there, that would be the only problem (money cost). You could also create Nanna Mexico T-Shirts for customers. If stylish enough, they could be warn around Cambridge as a new trend, but more importantly to promote Nanna Mexico. Cost of T-Shirt is around £10. Times this by the number of shirts you want to sell. The amount of money spent would be a lot but overall it could would promote the company a lot. Mugs and Coaster cost around £5 each, times this by the amount the item had been brought. The use of mugs and coaters would be an excellent way of advertising the store, as it will clearly show the brand in customers home, which will be seen by other potential customers.

Understanding how advertising is distributed and promoted
My campaign used a wide variation of media platforms to distribute and promote their ice-cream. The first thing they used was the poster to promote their new ice-cream. These were placed in major capitals such as London, Barcelona, Amsterdam and so on. This was a good use of distribution as it guarantees shoppers to see their printed advert. The cost for this kind of distribution ranges between £10/40 depending on the size of the poster, times this by the amount of posters used. It also depends on who you ask to print the poster, and where you put it.
The advert was also used on public transport such as city buses. As you can see below, the picture shows the printed advertisement on the side of a bus. The advert would of been on the side of many famous bus companies such as Stagecoach or Go Whippet. This type of distribution is also very good as it will be seen by thousand of people everyday as the bus travels into and out of the city. The cost of the having a bus for a month depends on the size of the bus, the length of the advertisement period and where you put it on the bus as shown in this picture.
If you look closely enough you can see on the bus that they have used the same tagline but translated all the over world. This clearly states that the advertisement campaign is international as it is aimed for more than one country. This would explain the lack of images used in the advertisement and why they used a world famous actor, who would be noticed worldwide. The content used in the advertisement can be used internationally as it relates to every nation. The use of this simple advertisement would generate customers from all over the world.
My campaign used a cross ranged media campaign to promote their new product. First they created a a poster and bus printed adverts to creates awareness for the ice-cream. They then created a website for the ice-cream, where you could be interactive with the product. A PR was launched for Magnum Gold where the celebrity and the actress turned up to promote the ice-cream.They created a TV advert where it brought the idea of the stealing the ice-cream into a reality. A new poster which was robbery themed was launched to advertise the link between the fact its so good that you can steal it. Finally to complete their campaign, they released a cinematic TV advert which showed the actor and actress, stealing the actual ice-cream. The actress was selected by a use of a competition. Overall all aspects of the campaign worked together to achieve the outstanding results.
Results
130 million sticks sold, +73% ahead of target. Turnover increased by 90 million year on year, +12%. Universal trailer was seen online by over 1.9 million people (129% vs plan). The website received over 3.8 million visits. Over 2 million people globally entered the competition to make a video heist film with Benicio Del Toro.

Ways to Promote Nanna Mexico
We have been asked to create a print based product for Nanna Mexico. The brief asked us to create a poster for the front of their store, which can be displayed to tourist and shoppers. I have found a local print company which provides large print outs for affordable prices. I have found the cost of other print based Media's in case we promote this option. Billboards are an expensive option but have a higher probability of luring tourist and shoppers. A cost of a billboard for a month would be around £300. The cost for an A1 printed poster would be £5 and A2 would be £4.

Nanna Mexico - Initial Creative Brief
What they want us to do?
We have been asked by Luis Navarro the owner of Nanna Mexico to create a poster for people to see when they pass the shop. The poster will be located at the front of the premises. The advert is for shoppers and tourist. THEY WANT US TO SAY that its healthy food and every one can afford it.
Target Audience
Shoppers and tourist. Shoppers and Tourist are people over 30 that have the power to spend money and travel. Fresh and healthy food all can afford.
Most Important
Fresh and healthy food made your own way.
How Long will it the poster last?
6 months / 1month
Ideas
1:Step by step on how to eat a burrito, with images. The use of this advertisement would promote and instruct the customer.
2:The smells, the colours, the textures, and most importantly, the ingredients of my nanna’s kitchen are what you will find here. The use of his Nanna may be a good way forward, relate to the customer by using his Nan and how she inspired him. Promote this!

Pitch for Advertising Campaign
Nanna Mexico
29 Petty Cury, Cambridge CB2 3NB, United Kingdom and 33 Regent Street Cambridge CB2 1 AB, United Kingdom. Fast food restaurant. Small local company that sells concentrated mexican foods. They have their own website, allowing online takeaways and location information. Their website is very clear and easy to navigate through. It provides us with both of their locations, how to contact them, menu of their food and how they came about.
There are offers on deals for students and prices of food going down to £10 after 5pm. The audience would be around the ages of teen and young adult, because their food selection wouldn't be referred to children. They have cleverly used social media as another form of advertising their food, for example Twitter. https://twitter.com/nannamexico
On their website we are provided with the history of how the company began. This is a good way to relate to customers who come from similar backgrounds. The history of their company is a good way to make customers trust the company as they know how and where they started from.
Jemporium
It is a small shop in Cambridge which sells vintage clothing. It is located in the Grafton Centre, Cambridge. They have an online website, simple and easy to navigate through. The website clearly tell us what they sell and where they're located. The website although plain, has been laid out very well which makes it clearer to read.
The store also uses Ebay to sell their clothing. The website also shows us pictures of the clothes to give us an example of what we could buy. The clothing line is for teenagers and older because older clothes are being worn more and more by younger people.
They are associated with social media, e.g. Facebook and Twitter. This is a good idea as it can be a good way to spread word of mouth. They are familiar with advertising their products in print based media, for example magazines (Velvet Magazine May 2011).

City Cycle Hire
The only specialist bike rental service in Cambridge. Their website clearly provides us with information about their service and what it cost to rent a bike. They provide a light and a lock for short hires. The prices are very reasonable, especially as they are in one of the worlds biking capitals.

They company provides us with a wide range of bikes for all ages. This means their target audience can start from a much lower age e.g 7 and older. The website provides us with a gallery full of images which customers have taken while using their bikes. Good way to show customer satisfaction. Another good feature with the website is the fact that you can browse through their different bikes. This is a good feature because it gives customers a preview of what they could purchase + a wide range of different bikes to choose from.
The bikes provided are so specified, that they've been categorised into female and male categories. The fact that they've done this clearly shows that they know their bikes. The company offers bikes for children, women, men, specialist. We are provide with the opening times and dates that they're open. They have also cleverly and productively provided us with the cards they accept when purchasing the bikes. A testimonial can also be read on the website which gives us a clear and positive view on their bikes. This shows customer satisfaction is high.
A great feature they have put onto their website is the F.A.Q'S. This answers any common question the general customer may have, which decreases question phone calls and increases profitability. To increase their marketing campaign, I would surgest creating a Facebook page, or Twitter account, this way word of mouth will spread and you will get more customers. The use of social media for small companies is becoming increasingly important, because without it they could be losing crucial revenue.

Legal and Ethical Issues
If there was going to be a problem with my advert it would possible come from the word they used "Stolen". There is a small possibility that it could be misinterpreted and lead viewers to steal the product their advertising. It may influence children to start stealing stuff.
In general I believe my advert is safe for all viewers and relates to both female/male audience members. The fact that a celebrity has been used in their advert may just promote the fact that even celebrities choose this ice-cream.
With my advert, I believe that a very low number of people would complain to the ASA about anything shown in this advertisement. The use of both woman and man would only highlight that its for both sexes. There are few words used, which will cause no offence. There are no sexual innuendos which would usually cause offence with ice-cream adverts. Overall the advert uses clean/safe imagery to assure no offence is made to anyone.
The ASA manages advertisement in the UK. ASA stands for Advertising Standards Authority. The company has made guide lines for adverts to follow to minimize any offence caused. They were formed in 1961 and have been strong ever since. If any complaints are received, they will follow up on it and either respectfully ignore the complaint or take action. Even if one complaint is made, they will follow up on it. This shows dedication and how much they care for people who get offended.
